Vali is built for South African businesses, and we take the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) seriously.

How we process personal information
We process personal information lawfully, for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy: operating the service, supporting customers, and billing. We collect only what we need.
Data isolation
Each customer company's information is kept completely separate — not in a shared pool — which supports clean separation of personal information between businesses.
Free calculators on this website
Our free tools, such as the loan and bond calculator, run entirely in your own web browser. Nothing you type into them is transmitted to us, so no personal or financial information from those tools is ever processed, stored or shared by Vali. If you choose to have your figures remembered, they are held only in your own browser on your own device, and you can remove them at any time.
Your rights as a data subject
You may ask what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion, and object to certain processing, subject to legal limits. Requests: hello@vali.co.za (placeholder).
Cross-border transfers
Application data is hosted in South Africa. Where any processing involves a third party outside South Africa, we ensure appropriate safeguards.
Security & breaches
We apply reasonable safeguards and will notify affected parties and the Information Regulator of any material breach as required by POPIA.
