Production planning software
Production Scheduling Software – every job, machine and person planned
Book every step of every job card onto your machines, stations and people, against the hours you really work. Vali warns you about clashes, late jobs and short material before they hold up the factory.
How it works
Every step of every job, booked to a machine or a person
A job card is made of steps from the product's routing. Each step is booked onto the machine, station or person that does it, for the time it really takes.

The planning board
Making complex planning simple
Dozens of jobs, machines and people on one board. Move a step with your mouse, and Vali keeps track of the clashes and the due dates for you.
Drag to move
Drag a step to another time or machine. Vali warns you when that double-books something.
Late shows straight away
Steps that run past the due date or overlap are marked, so you see the problem before the customer does.
Someone off sick?
Hand their work to another person who can do the same step.
Plan against what you really have
Real hours, real machines, real material
The board is only as honest as what sits behind it, so Vali plans with your shifts, your machines and the stock you have.
Set the working hours, breaks and public holidays, and each machine's speed, setup time and own shifts, so Vali knows how much production time there really is.
Plan a month of jobs, make the sub-assembly job cards from the main one, see what material must be ordered, and split a job that is short of material.
Put the same step from several job cards into one load, such as one powder-coating oven run, and share its cost fairly.
Kilograms go in and a varying number of pieces come out. Each pour records the good and scrapped pieces, checks the yield and gets its own batch label.
The job card offers whole bags or drums against the exact amount needed, and plans the mixer runs to match.

Factory stations
The board updates from the factory floor
- Operators sign in at their station with a PIN.
- They start and finish the step they are working on.
- Good, redone and scrapped pieces are counted on a big keypad.
- The time each person spends is logged against the job, at their own rate.
What changes in the factory
Delivery dates you can give
The end date comes from the booked steps and real working hours, not a guess.
Material ordered in time
The month plan shows what must be ordered before a job can start.
Fuller ovens and mixers
Batch the same step from several jobs into one run, and order whole bags and drums.

Common questions
What is production planning software?
It is where a factory decides which job is made on which machine, by whom and when. In Vali each step of a job card is booked onto a machine, station or person, against your real working hours.
Is planning included in the Vali Business price?
Yes. The planning board, shifts and machines, month planning and batching are part of Vali Business, with manufacturing, stock and accounting, at one monthly price and no per-user fees. See pricing.
Does it know our working hours and public holidays?
Yes. Set the factory's shifts, breaks and public holidays, and each machine's speed, setup time and own shifts. The board plans inside those hours.
What happens when someone is off sick?
Move their booked steps to another person who can do the same work, straight on the planning board.
Can workers update progress from the floor?
Yes, with factory stations (Beta). Operators sign in with a PIN, start and finish their step, and record good and scrapped pieces.
