Five easy ways to create quotes

Every quote is saved as a draft, ready for you to check and send as a PDF with your logo.

From the product list

Add the products and choose the customer. Their agreed price and the last price you charged them show under each line.

From an enquiry

On a CRM lead, New quotation opens with the customer and what they asked for already filled in.

Accurate job pricing from your bill of materials

The bill of materials prices every material from what your stock really cost and adds the labour for each step, allowing for waste. The cost per unit is one you can quote from.

Then the job card tracks the real cost against that plan, so you learn whether the quote was right.

After the yes

The accepted quote becomes the order and the invoice

Nothing is typed twice. The same customer, products and prices carry through.

Common questions

Is quoting included in the Vali Business price?

Yes. Quotations, customer prices, sales orders and invoicing are part of Vali Business, with stock, manufacturing and accounting, at one monthly price and no per-user fees. See pricing.

Can each customer have their own prices?

Yes. Give a customer their own price for any product, with dates if you like. It fills in by itself on their quotes, orders and invoices, and every change is logged.

Can I quote a one-off job that is not in my product list?

Yes. Build the price up on the quote line from materials, labour and your markup. Your customer sees the line, and only your team sees the breakdown.

What happens when the customer accepts?

Turn the quote into a sales order and then an invoice, with the same customer, products and prices. Manufacturers can start the job card from the sales order.

Do quotes go out as a PDF?

Yes. Quotes are emailed as a PDF with your company logo, and every quote stays on the customer's record.
