Create your own courses, no technical skills needed
Describe the course to the AI course builder, for example "a short course for new panel fitters on using the panel saw safely", and it plans the modules, the content and the questions. Upload your own procedures first and it works from those.
Or build it yourself: modules, pages, tables and questions, with a pass mark and a time limit per module. You edit everything before it's published.
Tests and assessments with five question types
Multiple choice shows someone remembered a rule. A written answer, a sketch or a photo from the job shows they can do the work.
Quick checks of the rules everyone must know. Marked instantly, with the reason shown after each answer.
Short answers in the learner's own words, so you know they understand the reason, not just recognise the right option.
A real situation from the job, answered step by step. AI marks it against the rubric your trainer writes.
Learners draw their answer on screen, such as a floor plan, a panel layout or where the safety equipment goes.
Proof from the job: a photo of a completed permit, a finished weld or a correctly stacked pallet.
Automatic marking, even for written answers
Multiple choice marks itself. For written answers and essays, the trainer writes what a full-marks answer must include, and AI marks every answer against it and tells the learner what they missed.
Answers the AI is unsure about go to a marking queue, where a person reviews them and finalises the result.
Training records and reports: who has done what
For every course: who is enrolled, when they started, when they finished and their final score. For every qualification: how many of the required courses each person has passed.
Certificates and compliance records, ready for an audit
Group the courses someone must pass into a qualification, such as a workshop safety passport made up of the induction and the forklift refresher. When they pass every one, the certificate is issued automatically.
Each certificate has a QR code that shows it's genuine, so an auditor or a client can check it themselves.
Works on any phone, even for staff without email
Learners see their courses, progress and certificates on a phone, so nobody needs a computer.
Many factory staff have no work email. Tick who is in the training room, open a six-character code, and each person signs in with their ID number and picks a password.
Assign training in one step, and release it week by week
Enrol someone in a qualification and they are put on every course in it. Their access link can be sent again, or their progress reset, from the same list.
Hold modules back and release them when you're ready, so a course runs over several weeks instead of all at once.

Sell courses online, connected to your own website
Take payment on your own website as you do now. The Learner API then creates the learner in Vali, enrols them and sends them a link straight into the course. Certificates can be printed through the Learner API too, so the learner never needs a Vali login.

Common questions
What if my staff don't have email addresses?
They can sign in with their ID number. Open a six-character code in the training room and each person uses it once to set up their login. The courses work on a phone.
Can the AI mark written answers fairly?
It marks against the rubric your trainer writes, explains what the learner missed, and shows how sure it is. Answers it is unsure about go to a marking queue for a person to review and finalise.
Do we have to write every course ourselves?
No. Describe the course to the AI course builder, or upload your own material, and it plans the modules, the content and the questions. You edit it before it's published.
Can a certificate be checked?
Yes. Every certificate carries a QR code that shows whether it's genuine.

Yes. Your website takes the payment, and the Learner API creates the learner in Vali, enrols them and sends them a link straight into the course.
Can I use it on its own?
Yes. The learning management system works on its own. If you also run Vali Business, it's all in the same login.
